Vintage Silk Kimono Jacket

Handmade kimono jacket in Indian silk and rayon.

Available in two sizes:

- One size: suitable for sizes S to M when worn closed, and sizes S to XL when worn open (I'm 5'5" tall or 1.65 m in European measurements)
- Plus size one size: suitable for sizes L to XL when worn closed, and size L to XXL when worn open (the model is 5'8" tall or 1.72 m in European measurements)

The kimono jacket pairs well with jeans, shorts or dresses. It can also be worn like a blouse thanks to its matching belt. It works just as well for weekdays at work as for a chic, relaxed weekend look.

The kimono was made with a blend of silk and rayon fabric (70% silk & 30% rayon). Rayon is a regenerated cellulose fiber made from natural sources such as wood, this fabric is generally used for making "saris" the traditional dress of Indian women. This fabric is both light and very comfortable with bright and colorful prints. I search for these fabrics during my many travels in India and more particularly in Rajasthan in Jaipur.

My clothing collection is based on a subtle blend of traditional and modern. This kimono will accompany you on all occasions, day and night. I entrust the making to a small workshop in Pushkar, a village located about a hundred kilometers from Jaipur in Rajasthan. It's a friendly team that carefully creates my creations, everything is done by hand, from the cutting of the fabrics to the final assembly.
