The dress was made with a silk and rayon blend fabric. Rayon is a regenerated cellulose fiber made from natural sources like wood; this fabric is generally used for making "saris," the traditional clothing of Indian women. This fabric is both lightweight and very comfortable, with vivid and colorful prints. I source these fabrics during my many trips to India, specifically in Rajasthan, Jaipur. These are small series; I never make more than ten pieces with each fabric, making my dresses unique!
My clothing collection is based on a subtle blend of traditional and modern. This kimono will accompany you on all occasions, both day and night. I entrust the making to a small workshop in Pushkar, a village located about a hundred kilometers from Jaipur in Rajasthan. It is a friendly team that carefully creates my designs, with everything done by hand, from fabric cutting to final assembly.
